Façade rectification works are planned at the White and Blue Buildings on the sea and pool side of the hotel, taking place from 10 September to 31 October 2026. The project includes replacing selected façade glass and balcony glass panels, with scaffolding installed around the affected areas. During this period, the Courtyard Pool will be open from 10:00 AM to 03:00 PM, while the Infinity Pool and Kids Pool will remain fully operational. Noisy works will be allowed only until 08:00 PM, and noise levels will be carefully monitored to minimize disruption for guests.
The operating hours of the Main Pool and Jacuzzi will remain unchanged during the Ramadan period, from 08:00 AM to 07:00 PM.

Unser Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel war leider eine große Enttäuschung. Bis auf ein paar wenige Mitarbeitende wirkte das Personal insgesamt wenig interessiert an den Hotelgästen. Wir fühlten uns nicht wirklich willkommen und nur selten herzlich behandelt.
In Anbetracht des hohen Preises waren wir vom Service sehr enttäuscht. Die Tische im Restaurant waren oft nicht sauber und für die nächsten Gäste nicht vorbereitet. Wir mussten uns Essen und Getränke meistens selbst holen und wurden nur sehr selten gefragt, ob wir noch etwas möchten.
Da in Doha während unseres Aufenthalts der Ramadan begonnen hatte, war Essen und Trinken außerhalb der Restaurants verboten. Darüber wurden wir vorab nicht informiert. Das hätte man zumindest klar auf der Internetseite des Hotels erwähnen müssen, damit Gäste besser vorbereitet sind.
Obwohl wir das Hotel als „All Inclusive“ gebucht hatten, konnten wir nicht von allen angebotenen Aktivitäten profitieren. Das Hotelpersonal konzentrierte sich stark auf externe Gäste und spezielle Ramadan-Programme, wodurch reguläre Hotelgäste benachteiligt wurden.
Zusammenfassend war unser Urlaub in Doha im Rixos Gulf als All-Inclusive-Gäste sehr enttäuschend. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt für uns überhaupt nicht.
